So pumped after that win. I honestly didn't think we could pull it out without play clean smart football and we 100% didn't do that.
I still can't get over Cowing not calling fair catch on that punt. Such a STUPID mistake. I always feel if you get beat by the other team just making more plays it sucks but it's part of the game. The worst thing for me is when you're making dumb mistakes to lose the game. That was easily the worst one. On top of that we had plenty of bad penalties, including Dre letting his emotions cloud his judgment. He's gotta protect himself and the team.
The two back to back turnovers were terrible too. It looked like all the momentum we had earlier in the game went out the window. Everything screamed a frustrating L in a game we should've stolen with all our injuries.
And then we finally got that drive! Just epic stuff from Brock and Mike even with the refs trying to make it harder than it needed to be.
Just a great team win in the end. Gotta keep it going vs Washington. I always worry about let down games after wins like this and our injuries don't help things. But we have a really good chance to go undefeated into the bye week. Let's keep it going and not have to look back after the season at what ifs.
This team has guts!
