Shane Gillis swinging a comedic chainsaw at Saban.

"…Alabama Jones is very serious…"

Just WOW !!!
Wow, some serious and impressive work went into this thread!

One of my best friends went to Tennessee and is a diehard fan, so I'm pulling for them.

Also pulling for Texas.

Side note, I'm a FSU fan so I'm just enjoying the competent play on the field and from the QB

Indiana never beat a top 25 ranked team. Should have had to earn their ranking and shouldn't have got in.

Hopefully, the selection committee tweaks the selection process for next season, and beyond.

Yeah. Alabama beat 3 top 25 teams only to watch Indiana and SMU get crushed
Unlike the other visiting teams -- Illiois & SMU -- in the first Round, Clemson came to play.

And no sooner after I typed this, Texas ripped off a 77-yard run. It's back to a 14-point lead in the 4th ...

First round shows why more teams does not equal better.

In a sense, that's true; hopefully they'll get it right in years to come !?
For me, 4 teams wasn't equitable or enough of a representation. Is twelve too many, I don't have the answer.

Maybe seeding the teams based on SOS, and not no much on their conference finish might fix that.
Another option the committee might consider, would be to reseed after the initial round of games.

One thing is certain, the home teams all jumped out to big leads, and only one team (Clemson), showed some fight.

And then there were eight ...

Other games I'm predicting
Texas 34, ASU 14

Ohio State 34, Oregon 28

Penn state 30, Boise State 17

Notre Dame 27, Georgia 10 (how does Georgia score with back up qb?)

I'll be rooting for:
ASU
Oregon
Boise St
Notre Dame

Basically go West Coast, and SEC gets locked out would be amazing

It's the "most deserving " 12 teams

not the "best " 12 teams
