WNBA players reject a new deal that would've have increased their salaries from a minimum of $66K to $250K.

-How does one know if that rumored proposal is actually true?
-Successfully negotiating a new CBA is more than the dollars and cents the players get. The above clip of Satou Sabally kinda makes that clear.
-Players are not asking for equal pay. They are asking for a bigger slice of the leagues growing revenue, yet some people continue to push a false narrative of "equal pay".

People enjoy being willfully dumb. I've seen news people flip between "revenue" and "profit" multiple times like they are the same thing.
The WNBA players don't deserve more money yet ... the new deal starts next year, so then they will get more money under the current deal. The problem they are not acknowledging is that the league has been losing money from day one and the league is in a big hole it needs to get out of before it shows a profit. They WILL get more money and they should and probably will get a significantly bigger percentage of revenue.
"Owe" is a mistake.
