It depends on the high school team. One of those theater arts high schools in Minneapolis would probably get smoked, if it's Montverde Academy the WNBA all-time all-stars would not have a shot.

I'd like a "blown layups" stat to be counted. I remember there was a "blown dunks" stat some years ago in the NBA when there was a lot more showboating but it was always a really small number per player.

Wow. I actually asked chat what it thought about this very same topic earlier this summer and it said without hesitation that a WNBA all-star team would thrash the best high school boys basketball teams in the nation. No offense to the women, but we're comparing apples to oranges. It just isn't going to work. You also have to consider the different ball sizes. Disadvantage to the boys if they have to play with a smaller ball. Huge disadvantage to the women if they have to play with a regulation size ball. Ironically, the last point I made to chat was that even your average boys high school basketball team would have their way with the women if they just played lock-down defense.
