One of the strangest inside the park homers I've seen. Most are deep drives that bounce off the outfield wall and careen away from the fielder or line drives that spilt the outfielders and roll to the deepest part of the field. This one looked like a ball that would slice foul.

Chapman is so f**king worthless and Devers can't hit a 94 mph fb right down the middle but chases horrible pitches. This team is cooked with those albatross of contracts

3rd base coach should have sent Bader. Held him at 3rd on that Arraez double with 1 out and Chapman on deck. Of course Chapman who's slumping strikes out.

He only had 96 games and 367 ABs at AAA. Less than one full season. He was rushed through 3 levels in 2025. He's still striking out a lot but he's also making some good contact. Whether he'll ever be able to hit consistently in the majors is still a question mark but you can't write him off yet. His power is undeniable.

I think they have some better prospects in the minors. Two in the rookie league. A couple in A ball. One or two in AA. I say this because these guys appear to be bette hitters and play pretty good defense. None of them has the raw power that Bryce does but the may be able to conribute more overall. Bo Davidson is probably the closest to being called up but he's still probably a year away

Chapman isn't worthless. He's struggling right now but his history is he usually hits better as the season progresses. He's a career .239 hitter and is usually good for 20+ HRs. The lack of power sofar is what really concerns me. He hasn't hit a HR since the 5th game of the season. He's still a ++ defensive 3rd baseman. Devers has shown some signs of coming out of his funk. You pointed out that both those guys have big contracts so neither would be easy to trade while they're struggling.
