How many more times can they possibly run that dude out there and watch him give up at least a run or 2 basically every single time before they finally move on? Jesus
The pitcher that the Padres ran out there yesterday had an ERA near 8. The Giants struggled against him. As usual they made a mediocre pitcher look like a Cy Young candidate.

Its crazy because he has good stuff. But when they walked him off the other day, I didnt understand the pitch calls. When he was successful in previous years, he threw balls that broke away from hitters. The slider that breaks away from righties, he threw to a LF hitter and it broke perfectly into him for an easy hit. S**t didnt make sense. Get him to chase, or at least break to the outide part of the plate.

I've heard some baseball people say that pitchers and batters alike are still adjusting to the tighter strike zone this season. Pitchers aren't getting the calls on the edges that they used to. I don't know if that's true but it may be. The Giants hitters continue to not get walks. Yesterday they only had a 3 ball count one time. Last year they were among the teams with the most walks. What's changed? Is it the new hitting coach/

Adames thought he jacked a 3run homer and it was caught at the wall. Poor dude. I think last year he was just as slow out the gate so hopefully he catches fire.
So Giants are going for the N°1 overall pick huh... Any good prospects this year that could really help the team out? I don't watch college ball since I'm abroad.

Best news all season.

I guess we can trade for picks now? This is phenomenal.

Not surprising with baileys recent benching, hopefully susac has good enough defense.
We got a pitcher named Tugboat coming to the Bay.

Let's hope he doesn't get stuck on a sand bar like so many prospects do.

The Giants have the #4 overall pick this year. MLB has a rule that teams can't pick in the top 6 in consecutive years if they're a large market team. That means the Giants can't pick any higher than 7th next season even if they finish dead last in all of baseball this year. It's supposed to keep teams from tanking.

What a dumb rule, that should be for all teams, not just big market clubs.
