Embarrassing

Not really, this team isn't good, it was expected

Okay how about because this team isn't good and it was expected….its embarrassing. Work better for you?

Edit: I've seen worse rosters not perform how these guys did the first two games. Embarrassing.

Fair point.. still embarrassing but not a surprise all I'm saying

Can't really blame Vitello for that. Still early.

yankees are World Series contenders

giants are……. Not that
This just means they're due to score a bunch of runs soon lol. If they had scored a lot in all 3 games this series, we all know that would mean they wouldn't score at all the next series. The science of Giants baseball lol
Meanwhile former Giant Dom Smith hit a walk-off grand slam for the Braves tonight.

We got a lot of dead weight , Jung hoe Lee, Ramos , Bailey , all got no business starting

Huh? Whos' a better catcher than Bailey on this roster? Ramos and Lee are the best options they have in the OF. They can't just replace them when they have no other options right now.

Anyway wins and losses this early are hard to judge. Maybe the Yankees pitching staff is just a lot better this season. On the other hand the Giants pitchers held the vaunted Yankees to 3 runs in 2 of the games. Only 3 HRs in the 3 games and Judge and Stanton hit those. So the hitting didn't look good but the pitching (other than the opener) looked very good.

Funny how we always hear that power hitters don't want to play for the Giants because of the ballpark but those same guys don't seem to have a problem hitting them when they play at Oracle.

Agreed they have no better option but that doesn't mean they don't suck, Lee was a big overreach because they were desperate and gave big money to a unknown, he has spurts but disappears a lot and isn't there at seasons end when the games matter , Ramos always makes boneheaded mistakes, see his base running from last year, he mid at best, and Bailey lol don't get me started with him, I don't see why Eldridge can't get reps, he better than those 3 guys I mentioned already , and another thing is our pitching is meh too, let's be honest Webb was never suppose to be an ace, he a borderline 2-3 pitcher yet he forced to be an ace here because our owner cheap and don't wanna spend big money on a pitcher
The Giants are going to break out of this hitting funk. They will. Unfortunately, I just cannot tell you when that will happen. It just will.
I've already lost interest

Last year they broke out in August......for about a month, even were on the brink challenging for the WC.
I wouldn't have blink an eye on this year's start if there wasn't an entire year precedence from last year when they couldn't score more than few runs for large number of games. And let's face it, the core of the hitting team is practically the same. People are pointing at Adames 30 HRs last season; they were the most invisible homeruns I can remember. I don't remember his 2 run homers in the 8th or 9th inning turning the game around and winning it by a run. It's like pointing at the basketball end of the bench guy scoring bunch of points in the garbage time. So, until (what I can only hope for very, very much) they prove me wrong, I will worry. That is the reality, I don't play constant optimism or negativism. If they hit, they hit, if they don't, they don't.

Webb has the 10th best ERA in the entire MLB over the past 5 years for starters that have thrown at least 500 innings, as well as by far the most innings pitched in the entire MLB over the same span. It's fair if you don't consider him a true ace (I disagree), but calling him a "borderline 2-3 pitcher" is just a bad take.
