Since I do not have Netflix, I dialed in the KNBR feed from a dog park in Roseville. As bad as the game must have looked, it did not sound all that great either. The Giants have an extra day to stew over this one. I hope the smelly funk helps.

The Padres got hosed in their home opener too. Plus they announced Yu Darvish is lost for the year. The Giants first 12 games are against the Yankees, Padres, Mets and Phillies. If they can win 6 of the 12 they'll be doing good.

Record breaking day for the Giants. First time they've been shutout in their first 2 games and the fewest hits through the first 2 games in franchise history. We're talking 143 years here. Thirteen SOs today. I know the Yankees are good but this has been a pathetic showing so far. I'm not sure I've ever heard a crowd that quiet all day.

Not ready to hit the panic button because I know they're better than this. Just crazy how they were hitting so well in the spring and now nothing.
