Why was that not a double play when the runner kicked Arraez in the hand. The runner was called out for interference and the throw clearly beat Tavares by about 3 feet. They called it a double play and then reversed it. Tavares then ended up scoring. Is there some rule here that I'm missing? I guess the Giants couldn't challenge it.

Was gonna watch the game, but then accidentally saw the score on the internets before I even started it. Didn't seem like I missed much

Logan been having those up and down starts. Needs to find his consistency again.
Bader needs a break.

He hasn't been great but not bad either. He got a bad break yesterday when they didn't call Tavaras out. That allowed the inning to continue longer and eventually he scored. The Giants lost but they were coming off a 3 game win streak. They still outhit the Orioles. Just couldn't drive in the runners.
Bader is really struggling so far. Kind of reminds me of the way Adames started out last year. Maybe he's trying too hard to impress and make the trade look good.

This is not even a .500 team, sure they gonna win some games, it's a long season, but in the end I don't even see them making .500

Bullpen just saying 'f**k it' at this point today. Houser didn't help his cause either.

I think most fans and writers felt that the bullpen was going to be an issue and it has been. Nothing is really set there. No middle, set-up or closer established. I didn't watch much of the game because the Masters is a lot more interesting right now.

Like I have said, they'll bust out a game with 6-8 runs and back to 2 runs or less for a bunch of games. Five through nine in the lineup is an absolutely black hole (Ramos, Lee, Bader, Bailey, Encarnacion) with a hit here and there. If this pitching stuff was lights out from top to bottom, maybe they could have afforded that and win their shares of games scoring 2-3 runs, but with this pitching staff they absolutely can't afford that.at all. During their championship years they didn't score many runs either (similar to today) with bunch of guys in the lineup picked up off the street and the rejects from the other teams. Pitching and defense carried them and all they needed was a few studs in the lineup, D, the key hit to support strong pitching and sometimes some luck.
