Luciano has not proven anything to deserve that.

this is where you guys over value a player like Ahmed. Luciano only had 45 ABs last year but both are basically career .230 hitters and got XB hits at the same rate, Luciano had a better OBP. Ahmed may be more proven, but he isnt getting any better than his career numbers.

I am pretty sure Luciano could do the same or better given his small sample size and potential. We aren't comparing a top tier SS here. Its Ahmed. I have no issue with Luciano starting in AAA, but lets not over hype Ahmed please. He's a plus defender and limited hitter.

I think it has more to do with Ahmed can play the field. They both can't hit. But at least Ahmed can play the field. If Marco was some stud he would be on the squad.

I'm not sure what they are doing with Bart. As has been explained probably a procedural move of some sort. I kinda forgot about Murphy. With Bailey and Murphy I don't see Bart having a spot, at least for long.
