Lol at giving a complete failure since 2019 when that time frame includes a title.
Obviously they missed out on some draft picks especially on Wiseman. I was critical of the Moody pick but that's probably on Bob Meyers. In any case, just because the draft hasnt been great doesn't mean you just trade picks away now. Building through the draft has always been the way to build teams and that wont.change.

The caveat is that We have a generational player on the roster that demonstrated he could still win a championship. But Ownership was looking at 2028 already?
you absolutely trade those picks to maximize that window. Let's say we traded first rounders from 2022- 2027, would have likely been high picks, rather than imagined lottery picks. We've spent 1st rounders on salary dumps

Steph is why the team is going to get worse and worse. You can't build around him at his age and improve IMO. Reminds me of the end of the Bonds era.
Also, Dunleavy may be the worst draft pick the Warriors have made in my life. It is close with him, Fuller and Washburn.

They easily could have built around them but whiffed on picks. Steph still plays at a high level when healthy. If we had some younger legs we could get by.
They could still build around him but choose to keep picks. You're telling me Lacob/FO can draft someone better than Jaylen brown or AD?
Hell even if they traded for Brown (3-4 first rounders) they could flip brown in two years to recoupe a pick or two.
If this FO had a plan to tank, they would entertain trade offers for Steph. They clearly don't want Steph gone for following reasons 1) fan revolt
2) no attraction 3) Steph winning another title elsewhere
Enjoying all the slander Lacob and FO is rightfully getting from national media rn

KD's own words the last time you tried trading for him @warriors 👍 pic.twitter.com/zAA2yIcrXh https://t.co/YoJDeuTf9e

front office has no interest in building a team, just keep trying for random superstars

That was a really good interview from him
I guess they should just play with what they got instead of creating more cap hell or whatever
The trade deadline time might be more better for them... free agency wasn't all that as far as available players the Dubs could "realistically" sign w/out giving up too much and overpaying
If by the time playoffs come and Dubs somehow get in with a healthy and rested Steph, Dray, KP, Podz and Horford... they just might be a hard out, especially if "playoff Jimmy" surprisingly appears. It's wishful thinking that maybe Santos, Richard, Melton, Leon (if they keep him) and maybe Cryer can take a big step (improved a lot). I like the rook, Yaxel, might be somebody, ya never know...

Warriors GM says if they ever received a trade request from Steph Curry, he would "talk it through" with the owner — as Steph has "earned the right." 👀

I was just looking at a video of Steph Curry's home in Atherton. It's the most expensive zip code in the US. He paid $30 million for it. It's nearly 18,000 square ft. on 1.7 acres. Beautiful if you prefer the modern look over the traditional look. The property taxes are $358,000 per year. You can buy a home for that in many places around the country. I can't imagine getting a bill like that from the county. Of course I can't imagine looking at my bank starement every two weeks and seeing a deposit of $2.6 million which is what Curry gets paid if he takes his payments through the entire year. If he does it for 6 months you can double that to $5.2 million every two weeks.

Is it possible that Joey Lightyears is too busy focusing on the Valkyries?
Those ladies got the 2nd best record in the WNBA and just clinched their playoff ticket yesterday, first WNBA expansion team to reach the playoffs in their first and second years

No. There's nothing to focus on. The trade deadline came and went. We were in talks for Kelsey Plum but didnt get it done. No players were traded for. At this point, you have what you have.
