He'll be fine - just needs to let it go.

That's what he's been doing...just hasn't been hitting from layups to 3 pointers.

Was 23 shot attempts not "letting it go?"

bingo.

And that's going as far back as the end of this regular season. Yet most of us were hoping that the playoffs were when he would turn it up. The Clippers series was a cold wake up call that, no... the magic of past seasons just isn't there right now.

Maybe it's the ankle injury or the dislocated finger. I don't know. But I don't have much confidence that he'll change too much during the post season.
I do think his injuries are a factor. However, if they are hurting his shot then he simply should not be chucking up 23 shots many of which are bad looks. He needs to realize that he has the best scorer in the world on his team and not force things.

Ya I'd like to see that too. Support KD and let the offense run through him.

Just don't want him to be cautious and stop shooting. Just let it go, baby.

That's what I'm hoping will happen. Nothing against Steph but Durant's ability just gives us more ways to attack Houston's defense. He's also finding the open man when they send the help defender.

I'm far more worried about the defensive end with Steph. There is not a lot of places to hide him defensively against Houston.

I'm not. Steph has been pretty decent on defense all things considered. As a primary defender, the player he is guarding is shooting a low percentage, and Steph has always played good help defense. The foul trouble is concerning, but he did a good job last game on the reaching front.

Its his offense that has been missing since game 1 of the Clipper series, and what we should be concerned with. His defense recently compared to his defense normally isnt all that different. His offense recently compared to his offense normally is night and day.
Better win today yo

Good steph please stand up
