After the euphoria of yesterday watching the reds play out of their minds I did not think today's match could compare. Oh it did. Maybe even more exciting. I was pumping my fist yelling all by myself when the spurs scored that game winning goal. Didn't even have a horse in this race. Premier league and champions league are unbelievable. The crowds at both matches were crazy loud throughout both matches. IMO, no other sport carries such intense passion from match to match.

This.

It's why NFL has transitioned from my favorite sport to my second or third favorite. You can't capture the same feeling that these Champions league matches give you.

I really enjoy watching & playing other sports like rugby league & rugby union. Enjoy watching nfl & basketball but with all those sports points are scored frequently it takes away from that feeling of Eurphoria you get from scoring. I know in some games goals can be consolations or low scoringbut it only takes a second to score & games can change so quickly, & 1 goal can mean so much.

On a Separate note does anyone watch VEEP I don't so I just wondered why the lead actress is wearing a Leeds United hoodie in the latest episode

Haha yes it's nice to see English teams do well Liverpool, spurs & arsenal I don't mind them I'm not fond of Chelsea. So hope arsenal beat them

I can say for sure had man united been in a semi final I'd have been willing the European team on, the last thing I want to see is them being successful

I was rooting against Liverpool for this reason, some of their fans are as bad as Raider fans here in the USA

Yes the media love in for Liverpool over here can make you feel sick but on the whole I don't dislike them.

With man united though, I remember being 14 when they won the champions league in 99, that was just unbearable at school etc. Never ever want to see them do well
Start of the playoffs today.....nervous doesn't even start to describe it c'mon Leeds

Ok, VAR has jumped the shark and I'm off the bandwagon. I was teetering because it has been so terrible in the Bundesliga this year, but today really just pushed me over the edge.

THIS goal (which would have sealed the title) was called back for offsides after a 4 minute wait.

Great win today

New York whites out in force

He's offside mate. Any part of your body in which you can score a goal that is in an advanced position is offside. You can clearly see the attacking players foot is the furthest forward there in that still. Good decision I'm afraid.

You will have no problem finishing the job on Wednesday night. Derby were dreadful today. The penalty was actually a really good decision, but your man probably should have been sent off for putting his head in where he did at the end.

Looks level to me...the defender's shoulder looks to be in line with the foot

It's hard to say though...if the linesman called it onside - probably should have stuck with that decision.

Like I said it's his foot that is marginally advanced, by the letter of the law he is off. Harsh yes, but he is just off.
Is Leeds going to get promotion?
