I've tried getting into MLS but it's just so far behind in talent.

It's like trying to watch Australian basketball after watching NBA.

Whilst I agree to a point, the quality of the play isn't always as enjoyable. For instance the premier league whilst many would argue its the best league in the world, there is so much on it ie money in being relegated causes teams to worry about losing & become negative granted there are still quality players playing doesn't always make for the most exciting game.

Whilst Barca Madrid & the likes are the best of the best have real quality. You can still watch games with less quality but more excitement if that makes sense.

When i started going to football it was the season before the old first division became the premier league 91/92. My team won the league & then the premier league started so from then on the premier league & Europe was the only thing to watch similar to what you guys will be like now, but being relegated in 2004 & spending 15 years in the wilderness, you do come to appreciate that whilst the quality may not be as good, the excitement of leagues. MLS will keep growing & eventually the standard will raise. I think you need to figure out your academy system & all that pay to play nonsense but eventually you'll have a good league

Brilliant but considering he went 6/7 years not scoring against English sides he probably should have scored more

I agree with the MLS part, plus the MLS announcers and presentation comes off really dry. It's like Nascar mixed with baseball (to me ) Watching the Premier league, even a garbage game between Wolves and Everton, has a feel of top flight soccer.

Don't get me started on how a champions league game has so much intrigue it just draws you in.

To be fair wolves & Everton are 2 big historic clubs in England. Now if you're talking Huddersfield & Bournemouth, they are garbage clubs that take the shine off the league

I was calling a matching between them (currently) garbage, not necessarily the teams or their history, point definitely taken though I'm a relatively new fan!

Liverpool get the 2nd

Not really surprised though. Knew this wasn't over after 1st leg

I do get your point though mate. The premier league has more of a big match feel to them, big crowds in the main & decent atmosphere with a high standard of player.

Whilst clubs are where they deserve to be teams like Bournemouth etc, the premier league would in my opinion be even more appealing if the bigger clubs in the divisions below were in there.

That's the beauty of promotion & relegation though

What the f**k just happened?
Tonight is exactly why football (soccer) is the best sport in the world. Games on a knife edge emotions up & down & it would have only taken Barca to score for it to end in tears. No other game can do this
