Ok, the d******d has joined the Gold Coast Titans, now this team is quite the new kid on the block and are doing quite well leading to the quarter end of the season, so no they dont really need him except to put bums on seats, i guess when he gets his league legs back he'll be able to add extra firepower to being top eight but i dont think he can do it in a short time, too many combinations to get to know and familiarise, maybe next year. Dated 3/8/16 Okay lets try a different way guys, on topic, civil and no baiting, this plane has been in a few turbulent weather conditions, fine skies and a good season ahead for this one please. Okay...has left the roost wether by tap of the shoulder or own volition, its damning anyway similar to SBWs'. Well here's the gist of it, hayne is still under the 49ers canopy be it as a R and R list, we who have followed him looked forward to the new season hoping he would burn it, but that ain't gonna be, so here on end you have your own choices, I for one will continue to follow SFC 49ers and will continue to learn this game even if it means racking my brains out! I believe Hayne will do a SBW. Have a crack at the Olympics and then go back to league next year. Problem is how do they fit him under the cap?

This dude quit football and probably isn't even eligible to play in the Olympics based on WADA rules.

The former chief of Australia's anti-doping authority said that Hayne might have to spend at least six months in a registered drug-testing pool before he is allowed to compete in any professional sport.

Richard Ings ‎@ringsau If Jarryd Hayne had been playing in WADA compliant sport he would have grounds to reduce the 6 months

But NFL is PED badlands.

Like when he got cut and nobody else across the league picked him up? He's a 28 year old project, not much upside for any team to use up a 53 man roster spot on him.

Jarryd Hayne eats sandwich

Former NRL star and NFL player Jarryd Hayne is believed to have consumed a sandwich today as part of a meal, most probably lunch.

Follow our live blog on this developing story

Experts say it's the clearest sign yet that Hayne will be playing NFL again next year.

"Every NFL player consumes food and this just shows Jarryd is continuing with the training habits he learnt at the 49ers," said San Francisco Chronicle reporter Chad Chase.

"Former Niners legend Jerry Rice often ate sandwiches and it's something he and Jarryd share in common."

Onlookers said the 49er consumed the sandwich through multiple 'bites' and used his tongue and teeth to chew the sandwich until it could be successfully swallowed. It's believed he only fumbled the sandwich once.

"It was possibly a ham sandwich or maybe pastrami," said Janet Smorsen, who was eating in the restaurant at the time.

"There was certainly mayonnaise involved, of this I'm sure.

"It was definitely on whole grain bread which makes me think he's finally learnt the blocking schemes you need to play in an NFL offense."

It's believed Hayne also consumed some sort of 'beverage' as part the of his meal and paid using 'money'.

Australian NFL expert Jeff Kellerman said in all his weeks of following NFL, this was the surest sign Hayne would make it in the NFL.

"This is just further proof Jarryd is one step closer to being the NFL MVP."

Not happy to see hayne go. I thought he had a legit shot as a next level ST return guy. The 49ers have a heaping pile of turds in line to return kicks now. Yay for mediocrity.
