I remember seeing Bob Hawke copping that one.
And John Howard showed he was the kid who always got picked last in the school yard cricket team. He couldn't bowl a ball for quids. King of the nerds 😂

Kiwi ODI side is pretty good. SA has knocked Aus out of first place in the ODI rankings.

Australia are in a rebuilding stage at the moment. Am I right in saying that there doesn't seem to be the depth there once was?
Aussies killed us in the ODI series here though. Great to see old boys' still playing in the blackcaps from my old school, Palmerston North Boys'High.
Hard to watch any overseas cricket matches these days though unless you have Fox.

Yeah, when you look at who we had available 10-15 years ago it was an incredible list of some of our best players ever. We certainly don't have that kind of luxury now but that era was bound to be an impossible act to follow. I think there's plenty of talent around now it just seems hard for some of them to find consistent form.

What really happened is,a few stars took time off to recuperate, must've thought playing against kiwis not as important as India...I suppose.

Aus off to a great start in India. Renshaw made 68 in his maiden bat on the subcontinent. Then we bowled India out for only 105, Steve O'Keeffe burying them with 6/35, Starc chimed in with a couple including sending that little smartarse Kohli back for a duck. Now leading by over 200 in our second innings. Go you good thing!

What's your take on the criticism of renshaw retiring ill? Too harsh or justified?

Mate, way too harsh for mine. There's no way you can expect a bloke to stay out there and risk s**tting his pants in front of the world. Dehli belly is a real thing.

One thing's for sure, it definitely wasn't what Renshaw had in mind when he thought he'd get plenty of runs in India.

So we managed to get over 400 in front and Kohli is back in the shed for cheap. We might actually win this game.

Don't want to get too carried away but who knows what can happen if we can build some confidence with a solid victory? Aussie side are usually very good front runners.

We've won it by gum! India all out for 107 in second innings!!! We win by three hundred and thirty f**king three. Crushing defeat for India! O'Keeffe finished with 12/70 (6/35 in both innings) for the match which gives him the best match figures for a visiting spinner ever!
