A shame because SKD is right up there as a great ballrunning centre of the game

Better commit to this weekends tips

Aus after much debate
Fiji
Tonga (with their 194cm 110kg 5/8)
Country

Looks like Watmough will retire if it helps the eels get under the cap.

Good luck this weekend mate
The 9 news tonight said it was all up to Watmough how the club could progress but I dont know if the 5 officials part is resolved yet?
All Parramatta Leagues club members should be able to vote those 5 officials out
making a united front showing that cheating the threash hold is not tolerated and to also put forward a affidavit to peers stating that these 5 do not stand or represent the club in any way or form and are subject to their own legal issues.

Yes and no mate, ideally they stand down while the investigation is ongoing but that then bring its own problems.
What happens if in the end they are not found guilty? What the NRL handed down is their preliminary findings and they keep stressing things may change for the better or worse. Given at least one of them came out yesterday a stated they are under the cap even with Watmough on the books then it all comes back to how the NRL has decided they are over the cap.
Is it deliberate under the table deals, or rulings on what are and are not payments that need to go under the cap. Nothing has been released to the public and I don't even know if the eels board has been told where the NRL thinks they are over the cap,
I know the eels have been forced to include payments they felt were exempt under the cap previously. When they flew Moi Moi's son out to watch his dad play the NRL ruled it had to go under the cap, even though it could be argued it was a welfare cost.

Poor players and fans
Wait while the stink gets slowly resolved but the points can't come till it is
Need a massive win/loss percentage to still make the eight
Tick Tock
Poor fans and players

I don't know if they have, it now appears they will be playing for points next weekend regardless of what happens in the next week and a decision on if they can keep them will be made at a later date.
Talking to people, most believe if the eels have done anything wrong it was to be caught, nearly everyone I talk to regardless of what team they support believe just about every club is rorting the system.
The NRL's problem is they have a system in place that is open to abuse with absolutely no transparency for the fans or other clubs. There is no player salary list published etc.
They have had the current system in place for nearly 20 years and every year there are multiple teams over the cap, it is well past time the whole cap system was overhauled.

Agree 100 % about transparency mate
The Storm players had to play with no hope and Billy Slater described ho low that made him feel
Are you saddled up and ready for tonight mate?

Ferns were to good,
Bloody tempted to put a few $ on the kiwi's with them paying nearly $5 for the win, no way the match will be as lopsided as the betting would indicate.
