Lebron vs. His Airness

Wanting to play in Miami beach with your buddies, making a big spectacle about going when it already was hard enough for the Cavs fans, bailing on promises to the Heat to "right his wrong" and go back home, etc, doesn't sound childish to you? Now he runs the team himself because everyone in the front office of that franchise has no backbone. His whole career has been about himself before anything else.

And knock it off with the "you sound 13, grow up" BS. Just disagree with my opinion.

Lol. Omg he wanted to play in Miami versus Cleveland. What was he thinking. Cleveland is like the greatest place on earth. Lol. And the decision was a mistake, and largely driven by ESPN for charity, it sounded like a good idea, but it wasn't. Get over it. And he is like every other major nba star, it's almost all about them with the media.

Right, but this is about him vs. Jordan, not him vs. the rest of the NBA.

There is a big difference in their careers and in their demeanors. I just think that this is a debate that goes on far too often, considering the chasm between the 2 players.

It's about him vs Jordan, which is why you called him a child? Lol ok bruh
Jordan has 6 rings
Kobe 5
James 2

That's how these things are measured. Dominate is an opinion.

And Russel has 11. lol

Putting the irony of people fawning over him after a 14-37 performance aside, there wasn't a team in the East that makes it out of the 1st Round this year. Atlanta barely survived Brooklyn and a Washington team whose star was playing with a broken hand. Either of these teams could have beaten New Orleans and maybe Portland, and that's about it. The 7th seed in the West (San Antonio) would have wiped the floor with them.

As I said at the beginning of the year, he gets to basically walk into the Finals every year by staying in the East.

Would you prefer he go to the West and be on a team like GS, MEM, POR, NO, HOU, LAC etc??? Nobody would stand a chance at the title. People act like if he signed as a Free Agent, it would be with a team like SAC or Denver or someone like that smh. And even then he would attrack other players and make that team solid. People need to be happy he stayed in the East. The West is already stacked from top to bottom, the last thing they need is to add the best player in the world to one of those teams. Stop the madness.

LeBron is about to have a career 2-4 Finals record. Hes just not a killer like Jordan, or even Kobe was. He likes to be comfortable.

Its not a knock to say an NBA player isnt as good as Michael Jordan, so its not like im putting LeBron down. He just isnt on the same level.
LeBron is the John Elway of the NBA.

Yup. A supremely talented baller who didn't get his coveted championship until very late in his career. Excellent parallel there.

Yup. It's hard to match Jordan's resume. 6-0 in the finals. 5x MVP. 10x scoring champ. Killer competitiveness. All the memorable clutch moments.

LeBron is amazing. One of a kind and he belongs in the conversation for best ever. We'll see where his career stacks up when he's done. I don't use championships as the only measure. Russell has 11 and I don't consider him the best ever. It's just hard to match Jordan.
If lebron played in the west, he might have been to just one nba finals. Good thing he plays in the east

It's okay to make lists if you've seen the players, if not state that I haven't seen so and so play so I can't rate him. I saw Bill Russell play many times, his battles with Chamberlain were epic. I remember them going head to head and saying to myself, you will never see anything better. After 58 years it's still true.

lol I like how you conveniently made Bill Russell a PF so you could have Shaq on your 3rd team. Hes really the 5th or 6th best center ever.

Its more like:

PG- Magic Johnson
SG- Michael Jordan
SF- Larry Bird
PF- Tim Duncan
C- Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

PG- Oscar Robertson
SG- Kobe Bryant
SF- Julius Erving
PF- Karl Malone
C- Bill Russell

PG- Isiah Thomas
SG- Jerry West
SF- LeBron James
PF- Bob Pettit
C- Wilt Chamberlain

To me, Jordan and James shouldnt be compared as much as they are because they are very different players. Kobe v Jordan..cool. James v Johnson...i can dig it. But James' greatness isnt really the same kind of greatness Jordan had...they got different games and different styles.

James doesnt have the assasin's blade that Kobe and Jordan had, but to me he might be a better floor general than they were. James has a much better ability to get the most out of his players than Kobe did.
