Bro, you need to realize what everyone else says outside your generation in CA. I'm not arguing with you, but thats how baseball people see it. The 500 500 club is the amazing. But thats not what he is remembered for.

Obviously I know Posey doesnt have HOF numbers yet, but after his career is over, I think you will be able to call him a top 4 player in franchise history, because of the titles.
To me that vote was 3 no brainers, and then a debate as to whether the 3 titles and being on his way to the Hall someday was good enough to edge out guys like McCovey.
If Yankees fans leave one of Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio, or Mantle out for Jeter I will be annoyed.
Yet you voted for Posey
Because of the titles. Every Yankee has titles coming out of their butts. If Gehrig had no titles, id say Jeter's 5 rings gives him an edge.
DiMaggio - 9 rings
Mantle - 7 rings
Ruth - 7 rings
Gehrig - 6 rings
Jeter - 5 rings
I'd give it to Gehrig if he only had 3 rings over Jeter. Gehrig is a top 2 1B of all time and you can make an argument Jeter wasn't even the most impactful player on those 5 championship teams but Rivera was.
As for Posey, I considered it and I think he'll be there eventually, but Ott was the greatest home run hitter in NL history for years and won a ring. I tried not to have too much of a recent bias.

I understand what youre saying completely.
I'm just saying that you being irritated @ Yankee's fans is stupid. They would look at you in the same light with putting Posey in the top 4. I would agree with them.

I put Bonds in after long consideration but I can't argue with those he don't. Bonds began as a Pirate and acquired a good amount of his stats there and even ignoring that the PED thing has to be looked at. I loved Bonds as a Giants fan, but if we're going to ignore his PED use we better not complain when A-Rod passes up Mays on the all time homer list.

Bonds also spent the first several years of his career as a pirate.
That should be taken into consideration.

Lol. If you did, you'd realize he's putting Posey in is because no one on the Giants list has more World Series rings than him while almost everyone on the Yanks list has more World Series rings than Jeter (minus Rivera).

I don't have a problem putting Posey in, at all. But you can easily make an argument that Jeter is just as impactful, but I will just leave it at that. Getting irritated over it is plain dumb.
Anyways.

absolutely no reason to be sitting Panik after 2 days after he starts 3 for 8 with a 2B, RBI, and a walk, ESPECIALLY after ANOTHER big bat gets taken out of the lineup with an injury

True...if it were Arias than I'd be pissed, but the Duffman should be fine taking over for Panik.

Hellickson is a RH, so unless he's getting scratched this lineup makes no sense for Bochy with Duffy and Maxwell in for Panik and Blanco.

Also, good news:
Belt said MRI revealed just a very mild strain. He's optimistic he'll avoid DL, may try to take BP today.
