Big win for Barca!
All 3 score. Love me Barca's 9-10-11
The Barca trident all score again. Second time this week as they did it against Elche on Thursday too.
Great game by Messi with a gol and 2 assists. Hell, he was even called for that penalty thus having a hand in all 4 goles. And, yes I know, that was a hand ball on Suarez's gol. It was still a beautiful play.
Best gane the team has played in a while.

Lowe gets coach of the year (no surprise there), Neuer Lahm and Robben make the TOTY (Messi and Ronaldo also on there of course)

I've no idea what Luis Enrique is doing but Barca is playin' their best football of this season over the last couple weeks. How is this even possible? They looked like they didn't want to play for him. That's some black magic by Enrique.
Messi and Neymar are putting on a show. One scores and the other assists. Just ridiculous chemistry between the two.

What I think are the reasons:
- LE has beeen using the same lineup for the important games.
- Piqué has been playing a lot better, specially on plays in the air.
- Rakitic has been playing like he did at the start of the season.
- Messi and Neymar chemistry. Suarez is getting there. Not scoring but has about 10 assists.
- Messi wants #5. He's hit another gear since Ronaldo won the Ballon D'Orr.

Yea but I'm surprised these guys are playing great all of a sudden. It seemed like they didn't want to play for the coach anymore. FO was in a disarray too. On field, there was no purpose and looked like the whole team was going through the motions. Now, they look energized and on the same page with Enrique. Just a weird but great development. It happened rather fast. That's what shocking to me.

dedicating this post to one of my idols growing up, Juan Roman Riquelme, who just retired yesterday. I grew up idolizing both Valderrama and him for the same reasons: the focus on the passing more than their own goals. Team scoring and winning was what mattered, not one's glory, a vital piece of understanding that any #10 needed to have. Cool pieces on him here

Riquelme
I have never forgiven van Gaal for ruining his career at Barcelona. I'm so glad he's struggling at ManU. f**k him.
Riquelme was easily my favorite player in the 2006 WC squad. I was pissed when Maradona left him off the 2010 WC squad. Just dumb.
But, I'm glad he was able to go back to Boca to finish out his career.
