I really really hope Thiago stays at Barca. I'd rather sell Cesc and keep Thiago. He's gonna be the next great mid-fielder from Spain.

I knew he was really good..but he is scoring some amazing goals in the Confederations Cup. That was pretty neat.

Just starting to get into soccer, well always been a bandwagon fan but really am enjoying watching RSL the last year. I thought there was a MLS thread but guess not.


Got to say probably not "goal of the year" but pretty nice I think. A little homerism but yeah I'm liking this sport. Downloading FIFA 13 as I post, been playing 09 for a long time now.

It's a nice goal for sure. You should watch the confederation cup it's going on now basically everyday and some of the best nations are playing. Great way to get into soccer.

Can't wait for Spain v. Italy. Always a good game and clash of two different styles.

Spain is ridiculously talented. Under 21 won the WC and Under 20 is doing well and the senior team is one of the best in recent memory. Guys like Mata, Cesc, Torres, Silva, Navas, Xabi, Arbeloa, Javi Martinez...and the new guys in Isco, Thiago, Bartra, Montoya, De Gea can form another team and reach latter stages of WC.

Cruyff hates the current Barca President, Rosell. He has criticized every single move he has made. He'd love it if the previous President, Laporta had done the deal for Neymar. Rosell has gotten great press for this move, especially with Neymar puttin' on a show with Brazil. So, Cruyff is doing his best to negate that.
