Relax until July...then we can start to worry if things aren't improved.
I hear you. And I am not saying its doomsday. But the writing is on the wall for this to be a problem all year. I mean, really break it down....
-Our offense is horrible. I know we lost Panda for a bit. But even when he was healthy, our production (especially with RISP), is one of the worst in baseball.
-We dont have any MLB-ready prospects to jump in and give this team a boost.
-We have a majorly depleated minor league system, which will prevent us from trading for a bat to help us.
-We lost our closer and for the most part, our bullpen has left much to be desired.
-We have the worst fielding team in all of baseball. We have multiple players playing out of position at a time, so I dont really expect much improvement here.
Again, I hear what you are saying dc. I totally do. But all the signs point to a long season. Could we turn it around? Absolutely! It just doesnt look like it will happen.
