That's like the time I was at Spring Training 2 years ago... was walking to the dumper... then boom. I see a guy who looks like Orlando Cepeda.. about 60 feet from me, walking down some steps.

Then he and his wife start walking and I get to his side and it's totally him. So I was like... Orlando? And his wife smiled at me, he didn't hear. Tried like 4 more times and then he finally looked at me. Shook his hand. He signed my jersey.. wished him the best...

Was pretty awesome

Did you know the "Baby Bull" is a Nichiren Buddhist?

I will say the Yankees from 1996-2000 won 4 Titles with mostly home grown talent, key trade acquisitions and great team chemistry

Post 2001 the Yankees tried to buy the World Series Title and only succeeded once.

The Dodgers may try to buy themselves World Series Titles but I don't think they will be successful. I don't think Carl Crawford will help, or Josh Becket, I expect Adrian Gonzales to regress substantially over the last couple year of his contract, Hanley Ramirez is a big diva etc. Bottom line is you still need to have team chemistry and we able to work together well as a team. This is something money won't buy. The Dodgers can try to buy a title every year if they so wish to and I will be laughing very hard at the Dodgers when they fall on their face in their failed effort to buy a title every year.
Just finally watched the 'Caught Looking' episode with the Giants in the WS. Great episode and fitting title considering the final pitch! Didnt know Pence commuted via his scooter/board either, lol. If anyone has not seen it yet, NBCSN (HD)will be showing it again this Monday evening at 7:00pm here on the east coast.

If the Giants dont sign Pagan I could see them kicking the tires on Hunter for a 2 year deal. Blanco would then move to CF. It seems like there are several teams interested in him though and I wouldnt want to overpay. Hunter still has game and wouldnt be a bad addition to any team.

DODGERS ARE SPENDING MONEY LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW. Are they going to get a decent return on the amount they are spending?

WHAT'S THE COMPETITION LIKE IN KOREA? HAS HE PITCHED AGAINST MAJOR LEAGUE CALIBER HITTING?

Hitting between Mike Trout and Albert Pujols will do wonders for your free agency value.

No body has mention Shane Victorino. Ain't he decent in left field for 2 years deal?

He's been mentioned a few times. He'd be a nice addition imo. People don't like his personality but I think if he's on your team you like him. Also, I remember him pulling for the Giants in these playoffs because of Pence being on our team. Kind of shows he's a good friend/teammate imo.

He would only be in play if Pagan wasnt signed and he would agree to a short term deal to play CF. He would not be a fit for LF in my opinion. I am not a big fan of Victorino and would probably pass on him given the contract he will most likely get.

I love haters!!!! Esp, stupid ones
I absolutely hate Victorino, so I'm a no on him. Personal bias aside.....yeah can't make a judgment I hate him almost as much as I hate Nyjer Morgan.
