I think the Giants would have a positive off season if they signed Pagan, Affeldt, Scutaro, and Johnny Gomes all to 2 year deals. In Pagan's case probably a player option for year 3. It would cost about 28 million per year for these 4 guys but short term deals. I would love a guy like Tory Hunter for 2 years to play LF but he will cost too much money.

The Giants cant afford to let the Dodgers just buy a division and let their guys leave.

Exactly. We won based on chemistry and talent, but the impressive collection of talent of the Dodgers is going to be hard to overcome. Watch the Dodgers to try to sign at least one piece of our pitching. We need to strengthen our team, not just remain in a holding pattern

2/12 is perfect for Scutaro.

And the Dodgers continue to spend. They won bidding on Rhu at a 27 million dollar posting. Now they get to deal with Scott Boras and spend a many millions more. This is just the first signing. They are not going to stop until they buy themselves a title.

Good lord this is getting ridiculous.
Dumb spending and they haven't even taken care of Kershaw long term.

Just saw Gregor blanco at a mall here in south Florida, he was with his wife and kid about to buy a necklace. I walked like back an forth asking myself that dude looks way to similar to blanco. I just said f**k it and walked up to him as he was talking to the sales lady and said excuse me are you Gregor blanco? He said yes I am and I shook his hand ad told him in a huge giants fan and congratulated him on the World Series win and told him that he played a great left field. Awesome experience seeing a player for your favorite team

They will. I dont think money is even an issue for this team. They will pass the Yankees at some point in payroll most likely.
Kevin Frandsen close to avoiding arbitration and signing with Phillie.Good for him

That's sick dude!
That's like the time I was at Spring Training 2 years ago... was walking to the dumper... then boom. I see a guy who looks like Orlando Cepeda.. about 60 feet from me, walking down some steps.

Then he and his wife start walking and I get to his side and it's totally him. So I was like... Orlando? And his wife smiled at me, he didn't hear. Tried like 4 more times and then he finally looked at me. Shook his hand. He signed my jersey.. wished him the best...

Was pretty awesome

Agents around MLB are going to be frothing at the mouth to rip off the Dodgers and the Dodgers are going to to take it willingly with no lube, and like it.
