Once again this proves that Bradley needs to be fired as a coach.
His formations suck he doesn't allow for a midfield attack his team can't pass the ball nor do they open the wings up than play it inside. It is straight long ball and that wont ever win.
Soon as the US is eliminated they need to remove Bradley and his son off the team and get an actual coach

- The main difference in this game are tha back lines: Slovenia's barely lets anything go through while USA has already had several breakdowns, most noticeably the two goals
- US most effective weapon is Donovan on the left, he needs help

Donovan has always needed help. For like 8 years. We will never have the teams Europe teams do because our best athletes will never play soccer. Football and baseball mainly because they are so glorified. Glory and fame for a long time over winning an every 4 year tournament, becoming temporarily famous, and then being forgotten.

exactly. and torres hasn't created anything in the middle, Findley can't make a play, and all Altidore has been good at is drawing fouls. and WTF does Bradley think he can make a shot from f**king midfield?
but like you said the biggest problem is the backline. that tapout on the Dempsey pass to Donovan is exactly the kind of heads up play with perfect positioning that our defenders can't seem to make.

They didn't look that bad today. You can not forget that they played with 10 men for almost an hour and had some very good chances to tie the game. I think they know that they were the better team than serbia and would not have lost if they played with 11 men for 90 minutes. I think the confidence of the german team should be ok, so imo they are absolutely able to beat Ghana in the last match.
If Germany beat Ghana, are they guaranteed to qualify? Ghana, Serbia and Germany could easily finish with 6 points each.
It depends on the goal differential.
