I wish he was doing the WC though

He IS doing the world cup.

I mean on univision

you guys actually like him? I can't stand that pos

I prefer him over the dude they have at univision right now. I can't stand when he goes "Golazo golazo golazo! Azo Azo Azo!"

What the f**k is AZO???? that word doesn't exist in spanish!

I actually do like that guy

bleh
WOW. In some ways, that was a bigger upset than Switzerland-Spain. Germany looked unstoppable against Australia, were the consensus best team of the tournament thus far.

Hats off to Serbia. They took advantage of the opportunity and pressed the issue as soon as Klose got sent off. But Podalski had a s**t game; he had at least three perfect chances to tie the game and missed them all. And, of course, the story of this one will be the ridiculous refereeing. Which is a shame. If Germany is to advance deep in this tournament, they will probably have to do with it with various players suspended. Tough.

Apparently the referee handed out 11 red cards in 17 La Liga matches last season. Hmm.

How can a guy that bad be a referee on the world cup ? He didn't call the game one sided (except the red card) but simply was lost . How many cards would he have handed out if the game would have been hard ?

+1 Go USA!!!
its very possible (but maybe unlikely) that Germany might not even make it out of group. If Ghana and Serbia both beat Australia, then Germany HAS to beat Ghana to advance, without Klose.

But who knows, maybe Australia isn't as bad as they looked against Germany. But if they are, that Germany Ghana game is gonna be awesome.
If Ghana beat Australia, Germany will be struggling to qualify

They didn't look that bad today. You can not forget that they played with 10 men for almost an hour and had some very good chances to tie the game. I think they know that they were the better team than serbia and would not have lost if they played with 11 men for 90 minutes. I think the confidence of the german team should be ok, so imo they are absolutely able to beat Ghana in the last match.

unless he looked really good in this game, he hasn't looked all that great, not that big of a loss

I'm confident on Germany advancing no matter what, but I think the biggest winner could be the US if they are somehow able to avoid Germany in elimination games

Klose was okay the little bit he was in there. he had one decent scoring chance, I believe. I'm pretty sure Germany will rebound and will obviously play better with 11 men, but klose certainly gives them another legit scoring opportunity, especially on crosses. if podalski plays like he did today and no one else steps up, it could be tough for them. but, like you, i'm pretty confident germany will advance. i was just pointing out that its not a given, which is shocking, considering that yesterday we all had Germany as the best team in the tournament.

but yeah, good point about the US not playing Germany. it would be good to avoid that.

it would be HUGE
ITALY BABY! My people are going to make it 5 world cup titles. I'm still stewing about baggio's missed penalty kick against brasil to give them a title and not Italy. 1 DAM penalty kick seperates Brasil and Italy

If Germany beat Ghana, are they guaranteed to qualify? Ghana, Serbia and Germany could easily finish with 6 points each.
