You think the Sharks are angry about last year? 3-0 in the first? Nice. :)

Well -- this is a completely different team.
Two-thirds of the defense is different. One whole new line, and now Boyle and Murray working together.
Ferriero, McLaren, Heatley, Nichol, Ortmeyer, and Malhotra make up HALF of our offense now. That's 6 new forwards. That's a big change.

Good game. But again, just one game. We need to play that well consistently. Our stick-handling was superb all game. Good decisions made, etc. -- Let's keep it up.

The team needs to play more like how they played in the 2nd period, when the puck was on the offensive zone most of the time and limiting the Ducks to TWO shots!! (I loved how the fans let out a sarcastic cheer when they got their first shot late in the period).

Well, I'd say more like how they played in the first AND second. :) But yeah, if we continue to play like we did in the second all the time -- we'll be keeping teams to 1 goal or less every game, giving ourselves a chance to win each one.

Dang.. well, it looks like they're going to be giving Staubitz playing time in Pavelski's absence.
D Joe Callahan sent down to Worcester.
