I think that talent pretty unreal. I think how he does it is 50% scheme, and 50% genius.
Yup our 3 RBs currently are all UDFAs. I still like Hasty a lot as well. There is no reason to spend cash on a RB or really draft one high.
Giving McKinnon all that cash and then NOT letting Coleman walk was dumb. Waste of money.
Indeed I'd never pay a RB north of 5m nor spend anything higuer than a 4th round pick. Keep bringing those UDFA. Maybe draft a day 3 guy but late do you have control for 4 years. It's crazy that every UDFA that comes is better than draft bust Joe Williams.
And never again pay Coleman or Mckinnon, never pay that position.

Breer of Sports illustrated projected the Niners to have $28 Million in cap space. Not sure if that includes Dwelley and Harris's recent deals. Also doesn't include any kind of restructuring being done or releasing players.

So if the Niners trade Jimmy G, the cap space will increase to 51 million ?

Yup, trade Jimmy to the Pats for pick 46, then trade McGlinchey+Ward for Darnold. Draft Slater at 12, let him and Brunskill battle for the RT and RG jobs, then with 43 draft Moehrig to play SS with Moore sliding back to FS, then with 46 draft the best EDGE available like Tryon, Turner, or Perkins. Then the rest of the draft we can go BPA, also with making those trades PRE DRAFT, we would be opening up lots of money to keep T. Williams+Juice+Hyder+Verrett, while extending Warner.

I wish the press would quit trying to guess what the cap is going to be this year. Just wait until they announce it.
