I like a first half of the year bye week. It seems every year, it's a "we will get half the team back after the bye". This year, we can get them back 4 weeks earlier 😂
As I see it one should look at our bye on Nov. 1. There is no 10am or 1pm game worth watching except the KC game at 1:25pm-that is if the network does not choose to air the other 1:25 game. We will play KC 8 weeks afterward.
On other weeks our division opponents will play the exact same time as we do on the same networks thereby depriving us of some interested(not interesting) matchups. I'm not willing to fork out all that extra cash to see them all. If they could learn to stagger the games between the inter divisional teams I'd watch more of it. Imagine watching the niners play on the east coast at 10am and then watch Seattle play at 1:25 at home. That would leave plenty of prime time games to watch the great talents like Manning vs. Brady in their prime. The answer is AI as I can't see the NFL getting it right.
Anyone remember Mike Ditka's exasperation "It doesn't make any sense!" It had to do with the 2 games between Chicago and Tampa Bay. The TB game was scheduled in the September heat and the Soldier Field game in the December snow. Both stadiums were free on boMade no sense. th those dates. Then think of the 49ers playing on a Sunday and flying to Baltimore on Thursday(Thanksgiving). Made no sense.

First thing I noticed when looking at the schedule.
