I think you are overselling Davis's capabilities here. He's a ST standout and clearly a backup safety. Depth at the position until Mustapha is healthy, then I think we cut Davis and try to resign him to the PS.

It's 8 total which includes if you place up to 2 on IR-DR before the final 53.

So they had 6 remaining after the initial 53 man roster, and if they used the DR tag for Hobbs and Martin, they are down to 4. That's not too bad.

4-4 head to head over last 4 years and 6 point differential between them in each of their last superbowl games.

I wouldnt call that the Rams dominating the 49ers or their front office "better"
I understand they won the ring and niners didnt and that is valid but its not that they are so much better.

Apart from losing Eason, the practice squad seems to have worked about as well as it could have. McCormick back, Valdez, Dinkins, Robinson, Nugent and several others who either played well during the pre-season or, like Nugent, fill a need.

No. Lynch get sh8t on because he has failed for 10 years to add a pass rusher opposite Bosa and has whiffed on so many premium picks. Not to mention the HORRIBLE personnel decisions like trading Buckner and trading for Lance. All the while not making upgrading the Oline a priority.
