2026 Final-53 & Depth Chart

Glad McCormick was signed to the PS. He has earned it this preseason not only as an RB but also contributing on ST. Hoping they can bring back Herbert for the PS to further insulate the RB room (given all the RB injuries this team seems to go through - will Guerendo ever have a long stretch of being injury-free?). Herbert also showed he can return kicks on ST. Three PS spots still open.

So we lost Bryson Eason to the Chiefs and kept Enrique Cruz on the 53 instead. I don't like this one bit

Cruz is seen to have a higher upside though more raw at present.

I suspect the 49ers would have brought Eason back if he cleared waivers.

It was a numbers game. Expect to lose some players from the bottom end of the roster. Neither will play a lot of snaps this year.

I hope Cruz turns into a good player for us similar to McKivitz and even Jaylen Moore. I guess the team has earned some leeway when it comes to developmental OT prospects since you can argue they've hit on all of them they've targeted in the later rounds.

However what Cruz has "shown" so far I find it very hard to believe that another team would've added him to their 53 man roster. It felt like we didn't want to own up to overdrafting such a big project. But like I said...hope I'm very wrong on this one.

Glad to have him back as well. I don't think those whiffs were who is always going to be. We've seen our vets whiff like that before. So hopefully he tightens up like our vets have, or else ➡?.

But damn I just want his speed back there. Being able to disguise coverages with Davis and Sigle would bring back old memories of Tartt and Ward.

Wow you guys cut Luter that dude is a freak. Great sticky coverage would've been a great fit for Macdonald's system if the Raiders didn't grab him
