Come on people. Don't give him the starting gig. Don't even give it to the others. Sign one of those two 30 something free agents for a year and buy the team a one year to figure it out. We're going for it this year aren't we? Don't gamble.

I like Willis more at Guard than Tackle. He had some good reps here vs 49ers Undrafted Rookie Free Agent Bryson Eason.

I like see him at Center. Seems to have the brains and personality traits to be one good fit there. He gonna be the Kittle in our OL room in that regard lol

But yeah down for him to lock up that LG spot as well

Yup me too, I'm hoping he takes over for Brendel. I feel he needs to get stronger though, I forgot who it was in that video but Carver had trouble vs bigger DT's.

I love this dude he knows exactly what he is, knows he's absolutely an NFL IOL. Even though he played tackle in college, doesn't try to pretend he'll continue to be at this level.

Strongly disagree with this......we have some good talented young guys that are eager to go.....if they prove themselves in training camp and pre-season.....let the young dogs run in the regular season.

Yeah, Brendel's up there in age and I know age and injuries do correlate, so we have some good young ones for the center position. I hear from the Bay Area talking heads that Drake Nugent is bigger this year than last year. I hope that translates to making the 53 and even maybe beating out Brendel, We'll see.
