Alright KB, cmon then. I like that attitude. I don't think he's a bad prospect, like him more than I did Guerendo who had mediocre vision and terrible indecisiveness in college.

Hope KB can be RB1 of the future after CMC.

i kind of saw him as the back up for the receiving duties for CMC than a tradional RB. lor of our plays require that type of RB

I think KB is going to extend the career of CMC... KS will be able to use 4 wide with CMC in the slot and move him all over the formation for run or pass, and KB will be the single back... out of this formation CMC takes less punishment as a receiver, or running sweeps etc. and hopefully reduce his load of direct hits. Shanny is salivating with what he is going to do with this set. And of course, KB can sub in for CMC as a runner etc., it will be fun to see how it plays out

IF Black and James can both be reliable, I say Shanny can use CMC like Deevah... this will prolong his career...

I loved how they traded back, got extra picks and still got their guy. Guerendo is also a former WR, so the team potentially has three RB's similar to CMC. I just wish Guerendo would break out ans show it this season.

Unfortunately, I think Guerendo is a guy who played WR and looked like a RB so he changed positions. He has the build for RB, but not the vision. I'm not sure if vision is something that he can work on and improve enough for it to matter.

May be as an H-Back, like the way Chris Cooley was used..
good vid, KB presents himself as well spoken and confident, seems like he has a good mindset and level headed...

He had a 5.3 yard average on 84 carries and a 90+ % catch rate in his first year, and just simply disappeared last year. The guy can run in the NFL and does have hands. I just don't know what happened to him mentally, just simply dropping/fumbling so many balls in practice last year. I really like him as a 49er, but as you said he's possibly more comfortable in a gap-power scheme than a zone run scheme.

Thank god Kaelon is no Lawrence Phillips. We've already had issues with guys who missed their blocks protecting Purdy (Tyler Croft).
Gotta love all the different accounts posting Black catching passes and looking pretty good as a receiving back in practice today.

Meanwhile Cohn posts a badly thrown pass to him that he couldn't snag and labels it as "he needs to work on his receiving"

Cohn refers to himself as a "jounalist" yet i have heard him say many things that he doesnt have a source for and quite frankly just makes up out of thin air.

Today he said "they didn't have Stribling catch passes in case he didn't look good so they could avoid the media heat"

No source, No quote or comment - just made up.

I certainly think vision is more vital on Zone runs, where any 1 of 4 rushing lanes must be selected in an instant, but he also appeared to have trouble finding cutbacks, setting up blocks, and influencing 2nd level defenders on gap runs. He's fast, and if the play is blocked up perfectly, he can hit for big yards and drive up his average gain. I just don't think he's an instinctive back at all, and I REALLY wanted him to be good. This offense is SOOOOOOO much scarier to defend with a RB who can make a house call on any carry (ask GB about Raheem Mostert).
