Given Kyle's history with RB's this was easily the most disappointing yet unsurprising pick.

I see why you may feel this way, but previously drafted running backs are not going to have an impact on a current draftee. Let's wait and see.

This board went ape s**t with a RB at 90, it would have imploded with an RB at 33.
I know nothing of Price, so can't say how he compares to Black, but I'll say that Black is built perfectly for this system. I have a feeling that we'll all look back and laugh that we freaked out so much over the pick. It's a need and he's a stud.

the ONLY time we'll see how good Jordan and Black is if 23 gets hurt... and let's not hope for that... KYLE's gimmick offense only has certain play design for J&B and they'll have to make the best out it..

49ers RB Kaelon Black was asked what it means to him that Kyle Shanahan had Black as the #2 RB on his draft board:
"It makes me want to go harder, man. I gotta prove my coach right. I'd be lying if I said I haven't seen the backlash he's been getting for the pick, but we just stay the course, stay focused, and we're gonna keep moving to try and prove him right."
Alright KB, cmon then. I like that attitude. I don't think he's a bad prospect, like him more than I did Guerendo who had mediocre vision and terrible indecisiveness in college.
Hope KB can be RB1 of the future after CMC.

What about your boy Guerendo? You already have Jordan and Black ahead of him after saying he'd lead the team in rushing last season?

I didn't see a lot of Black but when I did, he did some things that reminded me of Frank Gore. He was not afraid of contact and yet was able to get low and get an extra yard or two when there looked like there was nothing.

That's pretty awesome. I don't think he'll ever be RB1, outside of CMC getting hurt. I envision him being a great 1-2 with CMC for the next 4 years. They bring quite a bit of versatility and awesome pass protectors.
let's hope he balls outta control and this run game gets back to what it used to be.

I love that he mentioned the black lash of being drafted with the 90th pick that Shanahan was getting. That puts a chip on his shoulder, I'm like Kaelon Black even more.
But man I still got faith in Isaac Guerendo. I hope he gets back to being the RB that shredded the Seahawks defense back in 2024. I know that wasn't a fluke.
