Hard to attend a ROOKIE premiere when no longer a rookie….don't you think?

It starts in high school. Have you ever watched that high school all star game where they bring the players up and make a big deal out of which college they're going to. They bring an entourage with them for the announcement. We live in an era where you're either an instant star or bust.

Most highly drafted players entering the league these days were already stars in college and now, due to NIL, will already have been millionaires for a few years. That's probably a good thing as it means it's less of a major adjustment for them.

Agree, and at some point High School will be big money for the local community. They kind of have it with little league baseball, and I can see high school football drawing that kind of attention in the future.

In tennis, young kids can turn pro any time. There isn't an age restriction. Football is violent so there probably always will be some sort of age restriction - but I can see 18 as a legal age limit (along with the NCAA and NFL's possible rules relaxation) at some point in the future.

IMG is already starting the process.

They are still rookies after the season, that's when the recognition should be made.. not prior..

He's lost and doesn't understand the word premiere. It's a verb and the definition is : to have a first public appearance. Or : to appear for the first time as a star performer. Straight out of Webster dictionary.

He was not, especially in his rookie year.
