They love these scrap heap guys that are cheap and passable enough until they're getting run over on a crucial play in the 4th quarter of a playoff game and Purdy is either getting sacked or missing a throw because of it but hey it frees them up to draft yet another RB that they wont use.

Now I'm sad lol. Go get Pregnon or we riot!

The dude is familiar with the offense. He was on the MIA o line when played like a HOF

OT/OT
OT/OT

Fixed

Lol. If that was even partially right

OT/EDGE
OT/WR

And that OT better be Iheanachor or Proctor. Better not be passing up on guys like Cooper Jr, Concepcion, or Mesidor for freaking Blake Miller. No OT I'd want to take at #58 and dont want to reach for Tiernan there.

OT/G is prob the smarter play, specifically

#27. Iheanachor / Proctor OT
#58. Rutledge G (or trade up to 50 if Pregnon is still there)

But then we would not be addressing WR, S, or EDGE with our first two picks...

#127. Malik Benson / Kendrick Law WR
#133. Keyron Crawford / Romello Height EDGE
#138. Zakee Wheatley S
#139. Landon Robinson / Zane Durant DT

In the end it's dont think this happens and we will target a G in the 4th round like Fa'alili Fa'amoe or Jalen Farmer to develop into a starter.

If we go OT at #27 I'd bet a lot of money the next pick will be WR, EDGE, or S
f**k it

WR/EDGE
EDGE/WR

If the TE Kenyon Sadiq or S Dillon Thieneman
from Oregon fall to #27 either one could be the 49ers pick.

This offseason's OL situation isn't helping my trauma from those Seattle ass whoopings.

Tighten your chin straps for 2026 because as things stand now it's going to be a bloodbath in those Seattle games.I guess the draft will tell us how serious this team is about dethroning the Superbowl champs.

Maybe you missed the memo half our starters were out. Good ones too. The first game of the year basically no Kittle AND Aiyuk and we still whipped them. Our line isn't that good in pass protection but we can still beat them without 2 all pros like Kittle and BA…..soooo.

I wish we got a guard in the first round or a T than can play guard but these coaches are in denial
Yea we've already stated our preference is to select impact players on defense and guys that score touchdowns. We've been on record as saying you can always find good guys on OL mid to late rounds in the draft

Maybe the right payer falls to us and we go OL but I doubt it. We're likely to stick to mid to late round and FA with our OL going forward. Instead defensively we will be looking to test other teams OL vs the pressure we intend to impose upon them

Couldn't we for once just get a great guard like Joel Bitino From Cleveland and just steamroll over teams on the left side as well as have some of the best pass protection? It's worth the investment he's got at least one or two years left even if he cost close to 10 million a year that could mean the difference between winning a championship game against a team like Seattle or the Rams or a Super Bowl

This guy can pick up stunts, unlike many of our other offensive lineman. That alone should give him the edge to start at left guard. He plays nasty, through the whistle. I think as it is now he is our starter
Competition.

Yes.... Power Concepts..

Yup. Like we all wanted IOL addressed, but, not like this exactly. Although, no one is surprised. We can't, won't, and don't ever spend big money on guards.

i mean banks and puni were both day 2 picks so i wouldnt say that

but i think we jsut see bigger needs elsewhere and based on draft dont want to spend a high pick on iOL. My guess is that because this is a strong S, WR, and EDGE class we will be going there
Now we can maybe draft a LT in the second or 4th round to start next season

i think we will draft an LT when Trent retires. Also im not thrilled with the LT in this draft anyway this is a weak OT class imo

I'm hoping that Puni will return to form this season without a melting knee. That knee was an issue all year in 2025. Some stability at LG will also help, last year was just a revolving door of Bartch/Colby/Burford.
I expect improvement in 2026.
I look forward to the day we have a dominant O-line again, but at least we shored up the depth with the signings of Lowe/Toth/Jones.
