Krapstralia! Gotta love it!!

No just flushed in the opposite direction. I assume you will not be there. More to to cheer about. YAY! Go Niners!

Rumor that it might be played on Thursday before the season opener so it gives both teams a chance to make it back by Sunday and then a normal week. Hopefully get a late game the following week…

I think you are way more obsessed with him than anybody here. And the trolling is getting a little old,

What's happened to all that Wish love?

Love to hear more about how Wish is gonna revolutionize the NFL with his trick shots, and how he's a better tackler than Patrick Willis.
Read online that the game will be played on Sunday afternoon week 1.

Wtf... Even if they gave us MNF the following week, there's no way the players will have enough time to fly back, readjust, and recover.

Australia or US time?

Hard to find a time that works for both Australia and US time but I would have thought Sunday afternoon would be one of the worst.
Well if they didn't play the Melbourne game week 1, the NFL suits are just downright more evil than Satan himself. They're generally that evil anyways but they'd be even doubly more so.

knowing how well the schedule writers love the Niners, i'm expecting a Thursday night game the week following the aussie game.

According to PFT, it could be played on Sunday of Labor Day weekend, so one week before the rest of the league plays week 1. Seems only fair to do this due to the concerns mentioned above.

Where did you read this?

Everything I've read says it'll be Week 1 but that's it. Nothing about what day. Sunday afternoon Week 1 makes zero sense unless it means it's a Saturday night game in the US.

More than likely it'll be Saturday afternoon in Australia and Friday night in the US. Florio is dumb but he proposed it be on Sunday BEFORE Week 1 and 49ers/Rams essentially get a bye during the real Week 1.

That was only an idea by Florio not something that will actually happen. It is an interesting idea though. A Week 1 bye wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

if the game is played a week before the regular season, not playing the next weekend wouldn't burn the BYE.

That should be the case, because after the rest of the NFL plays the following weekend (official week 1), everybody will have played one game at the start of week 2. I think this is the logical way to go but NFL isn't logical and always tends to screw us over schedule wise.

That's right Goodell. Keep milking all that revenue from the 49ers. Interesting how America's team Dallas Cowboys never have to play international games.

Shows how scared Goodell is of guys like Jerry Jones and Robert Kraft, compared to pushovers like Jed York (don't you DARE ask for another practice field before a SB, but you better bend over like a b***h when we send you international TWICE in one season!).
