Well done, Mr. Craig!
I'm super glad that Craig got in, but only 1 of the 5 vets/coaches/contributors getting in is a huge condemnation in the change they made to the rules last year. Making it so voters are limited to 3 votes makes it extremely hard for a consensus. They put the minimum in, which is disgraceful when all five are worthy. Even if you left out Kraft not having Belichick or Anderson get in is a bad look, and Greenwood is also a strong candidate.
Fix the damn voting rules, because they are broken.

Taylor actually did drop a pass in that SB.....he took a hit from David Fulcher IIRC, but still....he shoulda came down with it. I remember the camera going straight back to Montana because you could tell he was somewhat pissed at the result.

...and congrats to Craig. I always was ambivalent when it came to his case for the Hall, but there are many instances like that. He was integral to 3 SB's and when you're the first to do something significant in the league (1000/1000), that is a major feather in your hat. Perhaps unfortunate for him and the other guys that got in, this years HOF voting will be thought more of the guy(s) that didn't get in, than the guys who did. That pretty much wraps up the players from those great 80's Niners teams that will get into the Hall Of Fame.

Just think of CMC in Walsh's system. Kyle isn't good enough

Just think of Kyle with all the players on those teams in the 80s. I'm not saying Kyle is as good as Walsh but those teams in the 80s had far more talent from top to bottom. They had backups that could start on most othe teams. Loaded with future HOF players.

Roger Craig was the runningback of the 49ers when i started watching them as a child so i've always held him in high regard. Love that he is now in the HOF

You could make a case for Craig as the Super Bowl XIX MVP. From 1983 to 1989 he was that dom. Big time runner in a pass first offense. If you look at the drive in Super Bowl XXIII, it was all Rice and Craig until the end. We have had better backs, but Craig was gold. Im so happy for him and that he Will finally get his due.
