Sooooo long overdue! He was a dream to watch, just absolutely amazing player. Great memories of #33. Seems like a great person off the field too. Class act, congrats Craig, so much deserved.

I added that blocking part. Id never want CMC at fullback lol. Too much money to use him as a lead blocker. But outside of that, yes CMC is a modern day Craig.

Agree. I.love Craig but he's not first or even second ballot. I don't mind that he waited, but almost 30 years is insane.
The Walsh comment makes me sad :(.

That's the problem. He was a complimentary player to Rice. Never the main guy. Nice complimentary piece but not a HOF player. I loved him like most Niner fans but we can't put everyone from that era in the HOF.

He didn't drop the winning one in the Super Bowl. That's all that matters. It was his only catch in the game which is probably why Walsh called the play. Everyone expected the ball to go to Rice who was having a great game. Incredible that the game came down to a last minute TD pass. The Niners outgained the Bengals 452-229.
