Congrats to Roger.
So many fans turned on him when the Giants forced a fumble in the 4th quarter that ended our SB run. He was always such a good dude. I felt bad he ended his time with us and had to play for the Raiders.

I think context is needed. Players that played primarily after 1990 have gaudy numbers and they should. Rules favor offenses. Im not saying you lack context though. But Im willing to be a lot of voters saw 8000 yards or so and thought meh. As you stated, he revolutionized the position. I wish we could find a Roger Craig now- triple threat being a blocker, runner, and receiver. Long overdue for number 33. Im also glad it happened while he was alive and well.

He was so versatile as an NFL player but was a full back when he got drafted out of Nebraska .

in HS he was ranked as the # 7 best player and 2nd best RB behind Eric Dickerson .
