Good lord, blow it up, really? Good god this place sucks ass, and our fanbase really has earned the 40 Whiners moniker huh? Good god, I think I'll take time off from this horrible place, ppl acting like what happens each weekend effects their daily life, if so then you have serious issues.
I'm with you AB, I think there are just enough people with perspective to get us through this off-season.
Obviously there's no rebuild needed, health and development will solve most issues. I hope Kolby beats out Burford and I'd love us to draft Pat Coogan or Logan Jones at Center. Brendel has done really well considering, but an upgrade is welcome.
I think there are too many jobs out there for none of them to take Saleh, but hopefully teams are stupid.
Imagine how easy our young guys are going to have it with Warner and Bosa around. We will be dangerous.
I do think Safety is an underrated need, just like we used to do to other teams, it's been too easy to isolate a speed guy onto one of our plodding safeties, the result is nearly always a big play or a penalty.

All big needs. Too much to fill in one offseason.

This was the same need at the start of last offseason, one year later and none has been addressed.

We really need to have a successor to Trent Williams in there. LT is a huge need in my opinion as well.
I'd also add replacing Jake Brendel is a big need. He's going to be 34. Isn't that good to begin with and some injury concerns.

Need to keep building the D. We have a number of good young players on D but we need impact regardless of where it is. We need difference makers on D.
The entire receiving game needs to be rebuilt. We need speed speed speed.

New Center. Our run game was much better when Hennessy played. Forrester loves Brendel like a son though.

The 49ers have a good young core defensively, plus Bosa and Warner will be returning.
The major issues I see are on offense.
Age:

- We have no #1 WR. Jennings and Pearsall are both #2s. Pearsall has decent speed agility and can get open 1 on 1, but is hurt a lot.
- CMC has old legs, only averaged 3.9ypc he's a good reciever, but not a big play threat.

We draft guys with speed and then don't use them.

I know. It's beyond frustrating. Why we likely will need to pay for WR help and continue drafting D.

Chris Foerster sucks as a coach. He sucked the other times he was here as well. The thing he's most known for in his career is snorting cocaine off of his desk in Miami.
The fact that he's so high on Brendel makes me think he's dipping into his stash again.

It's time for a rebuild ya'll. Im not saying to blow it up but this is a aging team that needs youth all across the board. We can't rely on CMC next year like we did this year. We have 0 wrs. Oline is trash. Absolutely 0 pass rush. We have like 18 positions to upgrade and it wont all happen next year.

While I am somewhat pessimistic with the aging core and whatnot, I can't help but feel this team will be back in contention soon. They have consistently done that.
2020 and 2024 broke the team with injuries, but this year the team showed an all-time fight and resiliency that speaks to depth and coaching.
The depth that will be here next year and beyond just gained valuable experience and that will pay off when those guys get to play next to actual starters.
Add WR, OL, EDGE, Safety, TE and run this s**t back. This back up unit was in the final 8 this year. Think about that.
