Indeed. It's a good idea to let him play out the season and gain experience. They fix the oline and get another good WR and who knows (maybe worst to first)... the D is top 5 so who knows.
It will be interesting to see if the play calling expands a bit going forward or if it is actually constrained by Shedeur's ability. My understanding is that the Browns ran an extremely simplified offense last week and Shedeur couldn't really keep up. This game seemed pretty simple also. Shedeur hasn't practiced with the first team until recently but he has had the playbook for many months. Concerning that he apparently needs to be confined even when they are looking for a miracle.
The die was basically cast though when Gabriel played poorly and then got hurt. I'm not sure it is a good thing for Shedeur to be playing. He has some bad habits and if he doesn't break them it is bad news. If he were any other developmental 5th rounder, people wouldn't be putting too much pressure on Stefanski to open up the playbook. The Shedeur circus demands otherwise. I think Stefanski is overrated but I don't envy his position. Can you imagine Kyle dealing with a guy who is slow on even simple stuff?

Judkins definitely has the "it" factor. Totally agree about him being the only threat. The Browns have some other talent that can do damage with a decent QB, but Judkins was the only one who could do it consistently.
