Arm Elbow Tear (2023)
During the NFC Championship game against the Eagles, Purdy left for a short while but came back to finish the game. The following day, he was diagnosed with a torn UCL.

Head Cranial Concussion Grade 1 (2023)
Brock Purdy showed signs of a concussion during the 49ers' flight after their Week 7 loss to the Vikings. He was able to participate in Week 8 after clearing the NFL concussion protocol.

Cervical Neck Stinger (2023)
Due to a neck pain, Purdy departed the game in the fourth quarter of Week 16 against the Ravens. The next week he came back to play.

Back Injury (2024)
Prior to Week 4's 49ers against the Patriots, Purdy battled a back issue. Following an MRI that revealed no problems, the 49ers declared Purdy to be "day-to-day" due to the injury.

2025:
Out 8 weeks turf toe.

Hopefully not but there's 8 or so weeks left.

LOL. 60% of the examples show him not missing any time.

I copied and paste it while glancing at the injury. Will edit it.

2025- injured

This team needs to always have a good backup.

Your math ain't mathing. You listed 5 "injuries" and 3 of them he didnt miss any time at all.

I could say he didnt miss anything from the Eagles loss either to make it 80% of your examples show he didnt miss any time, but that would be more disingenuous than your post in general.

I most certainly was
What fan with 2 grams of brain would want to trade Mac when he still has 1 more year in his contract and we all know that the starter is injury prone?

Heck I think that Mac is going to play again this year

You assume that Kyle can't develop the next Mac Jones. Let's say you were a Justin Fields or some other QB that has failed to have success, but still have talent. And your option is to go to a team that chews up QB and destroys their careers, or to the 49ers who have a track record of QB leaving their program and having success? You would choose the 49ers even if it means a lot less money.

Agree with the concept. Definitely not the example, lol. Aint nobody fixing that.

1. What ended the team's 2023 season?
2. Why is Mac Jones thought of highly right now?

Purdy is injury prone. Saying otherwise is either denial or disingenuous. For example, Burrow is all world but injury prone. Mahomes, Josh Allen, all world but don't get hurt.

**This team needs a capable backup for when Purdy gets hurt again. If Jones is traded.

Trade him for a proven player if we trade him, cause lord knows we cannot draft
I would take a 2nd + 3rd or maybe a 2nd + 4th.

Anything less than that in terms of draft pick value is not worth it.
