They don't have a choice if a 2nd or higher is offered lol

You don't even consider trading him unless a top 50 pick is offered. And even that I would have to think hard about it.
Trade Mac for multiple picks including a day 2. I like Kurt Rourke.

If they hold onto him for another year and his stock stays steady, he will sign a giant FA Contract at the end of the 2026 season which should net the team a late 3rd round compensatory pick. So, if a team wants a year of cheap control and an opportunity to negotiate with him without the market pushing behind them, they would need to offer a 2nd and possibly a conditional day 3 pick. Considering how much talent the team has lost in the last few years, that trade is a must. Rourke seems like a bargain because of his ACL, but this team will also have their pick of Vet backups looking to reinvigorate their stock. Guys who have fallen out of favor but still have the ability will flock here.

Interesting. But it is quite a jump from College to the NFL and in addition Rourke has had his share of injuries. Mac costs next to nothing next season (in the NFL perspective!), I think I would keep him.

Well we only have him for one more year. And it's a gamble to count on a 3rd round compensation pick. What if we hold onto Mac Jones and he gets injured in the Preseason? Even if the 9ers put him on IR no way he gives them a discount in the following off season even after coming off an injury. He'll sign somewhere else for maybe a one year $15 mil to $20 mil and at best if they don't sign any free agents (which they will) it would be a 4th round pick.

If someone offered a 3rd and a 5th round picks I'd take that in a heartbeat.

If you would trade him, what is the minimum that you would require to make a trade?

Damn! I hate to agree with Grant on anything. I would keep Mac or, if he insisted on going, it would have to be minimum a high 2nd.

Totally agree.
