I know we asked for him before when talking trades.

I'd do a blockbuster for Quinnen Williams and Will McDonald. And If somehow we could unload Brandon Aiuyk to them too that would be icing on the cake.

2026 2nd and 4th
2027 2nd and 5th
Brandon Aiuyk

For

Quinnen Williams
Will McDonald

I'd even be tempted to throw a 1st and 3rd their way for those guys.

DE- Will McDonald / Sam O
DT- Quinnen Williams
DT- Alfred Collins
DE- Bryce Huff / Mykel Williams

Thats a nasty Dline

I appreciate the thought process on all this, but let's keep the trade scenarios realistic. No one is trading for BA (or considering it worth anything) and SF isn't tossing multiple 2nds.

Looks good to me but there is no way in hell the Jets would that? They already have a #1 WR not sure why they would want another when they don't have a QB to throw them the ball.

Put yourself in there shoes. Why would they give away their top young players for a big contract vet at a position they don't need?

I like that idea.

It's not very realistic imo

I like the idea of continuing to use our draft assets to build the team via the draft.

We've done well in the past two drafts, almost as if we've turned some kind of corner in that regard.

We just need to keep that up in the '26 draft and beyond.

Yes, the 49ers value their picks more than ever right now, and have committed to rebuilding depth through the draft. And it's working, with the last 2 drafts.

They are also committed to having a financially stable roster so they can compete not only this year, but for the next 5 years.

This is why there will be no blockbuster trade, there never was going to be one. If they make a trade, which they might, it will be a late round pick type of trade that is cost effective. It has to be the right trade, they won't just make a trade for the sake of it. Lynch has said this several times.

I think the biggest name we might hear is Arden Key for a 6th. It won't get any more exciting than that. And that's fine, the team is competing and improving by the week.

I still think Bradley Chubb for a 4th or 5th I agree a Day 1 or 2 pick isn't likely unless it's a player that'll be really good for 3-4+ years.

We really about to play Texans "with what we got." Get ready for a non existent pass rush s**t show

Chubb will be 30 next season, he's injured often, and his cap hit next in 2026 is 31 million. ( and then another 31 million in 2027) Seems like everything the 49ers are trying to avoid going forward.

Agree if they do make a trade it will not be a splash trade. They value those picks.

I cant see it being anything significant because it would be very dumb to give up any decent picks for a rental.

And what else are they suppose to do? I mean no team is trading away its players at the moment.

We traded a pile of picks for CMC. We will do it again if it means adding a legit player who fits a need and who is signed for next year.

So you believe that Trent, Kittle, CMC, Warner, Bosa, and Aiyuk all still have 3-4 years left playing at a high level? They're not getting any younger or healthier. You strike when you have a chance. You have 1 more week to make a choice.

We aren't taking on that contract with 31 mil owed the next two years
