With Brock out indefinitely, we could use another QB. There aren't a lot of options out there and most are going to be too expensive in terms of draft capital or contract.

Have you watched Russell Wilson the past 4 years? Dude is cooked. I'd rather start Adrian Martinez than Russell Wilson.

I think a veteran safety would be a sneaky good addition to pair with Mustapha.

Brown and Sigle are not the answer. Sigle is a good tackler and has potential but he is a step slow in coverage and seems to give up a big play every game. Brown is better as a 3rd safety or a guy who can play close to the LOS like a robber in sub packages.

We could just sign Justin Simmons.

I'm still thinking it'll be Bradley Chubb. If the Dolphins are willing to take the pick that doesn't convey in the Huff trade (4th or 5th) I would do it. Chubb used to be considered a franchise pass rusher, and if there's someone who can at least make him a viable #1 edge rusher again, it's Kocurek and Saleh. His contract and Huff's are also fairly attractive in terms of costing very little against the cap this season and then virtually no guaranteed money after this season, so we could maybe flip one of them for a pick back after this season when we get Bosa back.

And hey, he has the same box score this season (sacks, TFL and FF) as TJ Watt! (Yes I know there's a strong narrative that most of Chubb's stats this season are empty calories. I'm joking comparing him to Watt. Mostly. But again I trust our coaching staff to make Chubb a good #1 edge rusher again even if not a franchise edge rusher).

Yeah definitely can't expect him to shout how desperate we are for pass rush help so teams run up the price. They know we're desperate.

Up to us to figure out if it's worth giving up future resources for whoever is available.
