Damn, these young dudes need all the reps they can get, especially at a position that Shanny maintains extremely high standards. This really sucks for Watkins and is how a young guy barely gets on the field during the regular season.

I hate to say it but this is the softest team I have ever seen not just this years but for about the last 6 years. I remember back in the 80's and 90's you hardly ever heard of this many injuries. Hell its like they look at a field and they get hurt.

How they practice these days plays a part in those injuries.

They have to be doing something wrong. I know injuries happen but this isn't typical.

What's this? Come on man. A month. He's the one promising guy who is young at a position of need. I guess more for Jennings and Pearsall. Jennings is going to have another big year. Aiyuk out for a while. Now this guy out. We don't know what we have in Pearsall. Deebo gone. Thankfully Jennings was resigned for a better deal. We need him and will rely on him early. Purdy really likes him. He has a good connection with Jennings.

Right. Neither side is budging, so it's up to JJ to come back and play out the final year of the 2-year contract he signed before last season.
The 49ers don't intend to bring JJ back for the future.

I think he will have another big year. He will get his money. Either here or in free agency. It looked like a deal was going to get done. But now it's reported as not. Anyway he's still under contract. With 2 big years including last year and this year Jennings will get his money somewhere. We need him this year here. Because everyone else is injured and some are even gone.
