Well he isn't getting 13 or 11! Haha but hopefully he gets a sweet number. Depending on what his options are now, he may change it after roster cuts.

It's a bummer Kelvin Banks was injured for the SEC championship. He did his job though and beat up on the back up like a top prospect should.

Good thing we saw Mykel play against Banks earlier in the season when Banks was perfectly healthy and Mykel was playing on a high ankle sprain.

We did, and Walker was better!

Just keep him away from the sauce

Or his girlfriend from Kaepernick
Heard some interesting deep dive analysis about him today to help you feel better

Krueger and other critics point to his low pass rushing win rate as a red flag...here are some counter points

On pure passing downs he was double teamed more than anyone else...opposing teams showed who they feared more with their schemes

When he had 1 on 1 situations his win rate sky rocketed into the elite range on par with other top prospects in this draft

Williams' career pass rush pressure rate is barely above 10%. The average college football defensive end reaches 9 or 10% pressure rate every single year. Typical first-round prospects at the defensive end almost always post pressure rates above 12%, and usually, their peak pressure years come in above 16%. Williams was never that consistent in bringing pressure.

Williams also has struggled with missing tackles throughout his career (over 16% of the time last year, according to PFF) and has never logged more than six sacks in a season, despite all of his hype. Yes, the injuries he was playing through last season impacted his performance at times, but Williams just never put it all together with an elite showing.

So he can't rush the passer and misses tackles at 16% clip?

Aldon had three sacks his last year in college and the same exact number of sacks total as Williams in more snaps. If you look at the scouting reports on both, they are very similar. Georgia rotates almost as many defensive linemen as anyone in college, they are not trying to get their guys drafted high, they are trying to win games. You make the mistake of assuming that if a guy doesn't have a ton of sacks it can only be because he is not good, which is not the way it is. He played the entire year with a high ankle sprain and still had a better final season in the NCAA than Aldon did. It's okay if you don't like the pick, I wanted Nolen or Graham, but they got someone who will help immediately, and possibly mature into a stud under the tutelage of bosa and Coach K. I am happy with the pick as I never thought he'd make it out of the top 10.

49ers have been missing a difference maker in the middle of their Dline since they passed on Wilfork!!!!

should have gone Nolen instead of a sackless DE "with a high motor". You guys do realize this is an oxymoron.

lynch and Kyle gon' lynch and Kyle. Fall in love with a guy. They never seem to learn do they. Except for Bosa who's a slam dunk what edge have they correctly identified????? Drake Jackson??? 🤮🤮🤮

steelers took that DT from Oregon I bet he's even better than our new guy

Based on what? Them not taking who you thought we needed? Maybe they figure, like everyone else who watches football, that edge was a need and this is the guy who they think is the best fit for what they need, and that there are good DT's all the way into the fourth round this year. It wasn't like ther are any can't miss prospects in this year's draft, all of them have questions. Save your hyperbole, I was hoping for Nolen or Graham, but if they were going to go edge, this was the guy to go after. Like I said, I bet the thinking was there are enough high quality tackles to get one, maybe two, quality players at the position in the next couple of days.

That's the type of data I like to see! That's awesome. Shows that teams feared him and planned around him - which made it easier for his teammates to flash.

he won't be as double teamed here cause bosa has to be accounted for. Muhahaha

No, but it certainly would cut your criticism in half.
