I mean we all witnessed them not drafting OL in a historically great OL class as well

Yes we did take Puni but you get my drift

How do we stack up against the Eagles on offense and defense at this point?

We have to get through them to get to 6.

Not beating Philly, Detroit, Rams, or Wash, not this season.

Well if our only hope for beating them was to draft Oline in the 5th we were never going to beat them lol.

Lol. Not winning any rings with this OL. Trent will probably going to retire after this season and we still haven't addressed his replacement.

Great OT class next year. Not like picking a 5th round tackle is going to change that.

And once again the excuse of "nobody was available when we picked" will be used. We have the s**ttiest C in the league, nothing at LG, and crap at RT.

Plus we have had years to draft Trent's replacement and we never did. I don't know how many SB's this team needs to lose in order for them to realize how important the OL is.

I became conviced a few years ago that they will never come to that realization. For a relatively young coach, Shanahan hasn't shown the ability to learn that I would have expected. He is great, but lacks something (humility, introspection, self doubt?) that others who have gotten over the hump (Belichick, Reed) have.

Unfortunately Shanahan will only learn in his next HC position. It's OK not to draft with the number 1 or 2 pick but to not address in the 3rd to develope for the 2026 season, will mean it's a long time for us to be back in contention.

More time on Sundays for a while.

He probably thinks his scheme can overcome s**t talent but that has been proven false twice now.

Yup, still thinks he's the smartest guy in the room. What's the definition of insanity again?

Being upset over not drafting OL in a what is a historically awful OL class is something.

It wouldn't be something if the team didn't do this every year, including years when OL is deep in the draft

Exactly my point. Deep or shallow, same approach to drafting OL. Facts.

Not upset, it's laughable how little they value OL.

I wouldn't say they, as much as our OL coach. Prior to him showing up they got McG spent cash on Richburg, traded for Trent, trading for Laken, brought in Alex Mack etc.

Forrester thinks he can coach up and develop guys. Overall given the talent he gets, he's done that.

I agree they need bodies at the very least and it's a bit confusing. We will see who they can snag at the end here
please don't talk up Miles Frazier NFN, I'll cry

And Chris Paul
So OL will be mostly undrafted signings, no?
Hawes gone.
Rams trading next year picks, exactly what we should be doing with all our comp picks coming again

Also have guys they can sign starting Monday who could be useful. Jedrick Wills for starters.
I would have been okay getting Kandra, Webb, Colby, Logan Brown, Jack Nelson, Cabeldue in the 5th. If we got one in the 7th that's a win. Eli Cox or Marcus Wehr as well.
