Saints sacked Mobile Kyler 5 times I think, they may have a field day against statue Mac Jones. The gameplan will be to run the ball and short dump offs to CMC could be another 30 touch day for CMC. Yikes.

Here we are heading into game 2 and we're already relying on a backup QB, backup TE and backup WR who was just signed this week and a new kicker.

And possibly a star RB with an issue not fully understood yet and hidden.

In 2021 the patriots offensive line wasn't as great pass blocking as some believe. Yet Mac still led them to the playoffs
Last week we allowed 33%. Last year was 37%. So he's experienced with the same level of bad OL play. This will however be the best system, play caller and supporting cast he ever had.
He won't be perfect but he's going to be better than some are thinking. All we need is .500 football from Mac for a few weeks.
New England Patriots
Pressure allowed: 34.2% (17th)
Pass Block Win Rate: 13th
Yards before contact per carry: 2.30 (5th)
Hit at/behind LOS%: 30.8% (4th)
Run blocking tendencies: Man — 44.4% (5th) | Zone — 55.6% (28th)

I'm expecting Mac Jones to be at the Jimmy G 2021 season level. If Robert Saleh and the Defense keep doing what they did at Seattle, they're gonna win games.

Mac will be injured by the second quarter if the o line keeps playing like it did. Expect CMC to have 50 touches and be destroyed by week 6. Just crazy

If we manage to be 2-2 after Jacksonville, I'll take it. We could lose @ Saints and still be .500 after week 4.

I think we can beat the saints and Jacksonville - it's Arizona I worry about.
Until I see play out, I believe we can go 4-0. If we are a championship caliber team - we can figure out how to beat the lesser teams like saints/jacksonville. Arizona is the wild card cause they are a division rival.
I just hope we don't get more injuries

I hate seeing Purdy go down but when Mac has had a competent OC, he's been a decent starter. Mac has his entire future based off of how he plays these next few weeks. If he wants to do what Darnold did.
lets hope he balls outta control.

LMAO. I'm concerned but I'll remain optimistic that we can win until proven otherwise. If the o line plays well and then D does its thang - we should have a really good chance.
let's hope Pinera wins all our hearts over by banging in all his attempts 😍😍🥹

Such high expectations for a guy who can't move and throws interceptions like they are giveaway tshirts. He will likely be out of the game with a concussion by the first half. Poor pass protection, clogged running lanes don't end well for a backup who is not mobile and lacks Brock's anticipation skills. My lord, hope I am wrong but we all know what to expect.
